We’ve moved Blogs!

So I have been frustrated with wordpress and how I can’t do some of the fun and cute things with it that everyone with blogger can do so I finally made the switch. Jeff has been bugging me for a few months now to make the switch sooner than later because I always complain to him. So here is the new blog, check it out.

Frustrating

This has been a hard week for me anyway. Then I had my ultrasound yesterday to find out what we are having and the official verdict was “I just can’t call it.” says the Radiology Tech. Our little one decided not to be cooperative. It had its legs crossed at the ankles the whole time and its umbilical cord in between its legs as well. Half the time they thought it might be a girl and the other half they thought it might be a boy. Gggrrrrrr! So I was a little disappointed that I wasn’t able to find out yesterday.

Jeff and I are thinking it is going to be a girl. With the boys they were showing two weeks ahead in growth at the ultrasound and this baby is right on, so it is smaller than the boys were at this stage, plus the boys were obvious boys which makes us think it is a girl. Then again the boys didn’t have their legs crossed. We will still have to wait and see. I have an appointment next week and hope my doctor will bring me up to do a quick ultrasound to see if this baby will let us see what it is going to be. I guess I really should be more patient and thankful that I am having a healthy baby that is my own. I really couldn’t ask for anything more.

Zackery’s 3rd Birthday

We finished the big project at my parents house just in time to celebrate Zackery’s 3rd Birthday. I had bought the plates for his party over a month ago and put them in my closet. He would go in there and find them and want to open them for his Birthday and celebrate his Birthday right then, so needless to say when the day finally came he was ready and excited.

It was cute he sings his own version of Happy Birthday and was doing so all day. We had a nice family party.

He got a lot of good stuff, clothes, shoes and toys.

His favorite was the fire truck from Grandma that he hasn’t stop playing with since he got it.

He did this for his 1st Birthday too, funny kid, he doesn’t like to get his hands dirty.

Zane enjoyed the cupcakes too

What we have been doing the last Month

My dad has wanted to get a flat screen TV for a long time now and he finally got one. So in order to put it up we tore up the wall to run all the wires, put in crown molding to hide all the surround sound wires, and put in new flooring with baseboards.

Jeff has been the key aspect to this project. He worked long and hard and is very proud of the end result. We didn’t think of doing before pictures so I found a few pictures I had on my computer to show you what the kitchen and family room looked like before the project began.

The flooring has begun

Gluing each piece together

The end result! It turned out awesome!

Fun in the Sun

We had a ward (EQ) beach party and the boys had so much fun. They love playing in the sand and whenever we go to a park they prefer to play in the sand over everything else. Zane got so sandy and I am sure he ate a bunch of sand too.

We also pulled out the kiddie pool at my parents house and let the boys splash around in it.

The boys would have loved to played in the water naked, but I convinced them to at least leave the swim diapers on.

After a Long Weekend

I think with the combination of the camp out and the fact that Zackery climbs into Zane’s crib early every morning and wakes him up, the boys were really tired today. They rarely ever fall asleep in the family room (I have them on a pretty good schedule) or both on the same day, but today I found them both asleep.

Zane had crawled up on the rocker and fell asleep

Zackery found a nice spot on the couch

Father Son Camp Out

This last weekend was the Father Son Camp Out for our Ward. I went to Time Out for Women (another post will come soon on that) so Jeff took both Zackery and Zane this year. Jeff was also in charge of the breakfast so he had his hands full.

The report I got from Jeff was that he left the boys in their car seats begging to get out as he quickly set up the tent and then let them run free. They had a blast throwing every little rock they could find and playing with some of the other young kids in the ward.

They each had their own sleeping bag, which they quickly wiggled out of and Jeff had to keep covering them throughout the night.

Just arriving and so clean

Twenty minutes later and completely filthy

San Diego Zoo

My friend and old roomie from Ricks, Shauna, came down for vacation and we got to hang out at the Zoo. She has an adorable little boy, Lukas. It was so good to see her and it was such a nice day to walk around the Zoo. It is amazing that I have been to the Zoo countless times (I have a picture of me riding an elephant when I was 5) and I feel like there is always something different to see (maybe I just don’t remember or have been to the Wild Animal Park more times than the Zoo). Here are some of my favorite shots. Have I mentioned lately that Jeff really loves his new camera? I will restrain myself from posting all 110 pictures that he took.

Aren’t these great shots of this guys personality?

Fun Weekend

Jeff’s brother Brian, who is stationed in Japan, came to visit this last weekend so we all went up to LA, where Jeff’s brother Nate lives and we played for the weekend. We had a lot of fun.  On Thursday, Jeff and Brian did some Boogie Boarding, while the rest of us played in the sand.

On Friday, we went to the Discovery Science Center. We even got to see Clifford.

The last night together we played Guitar Hero III. Jeff and I had never played before and we had a lot of fun. Jeff’s brothers can really jam.

Another Addition

Well there are some days when I cry and get excited and other days when I cry and think, “What the crap am I thinking?” Yes, we are expecting baby # 3. I am now 10 weeks along and I am still gagging all the time, at least I don’t puke. We are very excited and can’t wait to find that we will be having a girl (Jeff is not going to like me saying that, he wants all boys). We won’t find out for another 10 weeks or so. We are due right before Halloween. This will be the 6th grandchild for the Bair side and the 12th for the Andrew side. This picture is how we told my parents, we just stuck this on the fridge. They weren’t all that excited, they knew it was coming.

Note to those planning on getting pregnant, don’t tell family your plans, it is no fun when you finally are pregnant because it isn’t a surprise and they don’t get that excited. :)
